FAQs
Our cotton sheet sets include a standard pillow case set of 2, a fitted sheet and a flat sheet.
We have been very selective in the cotton chosen for our bed linen to ensure the quality and longevity of our products. Our stringent quality control processes means no pilling.
Our products are made in Portugal from long fibre cotton or Egyptian cotton to avoid the exact issue of pilling which generally happens in inferior short fibre cotton. In fact, with the passage of time the cotton in our luxury sheet sets tend to soften further and improve.
By using high-quality materials, extreme attention to detail and meticulous production processes, we create sheet sets that provide exceptional comfort, durability and luxury.
To preserve the luxurious feel and longevity of your luxury cotton sheet sets proper care is essential yet very simple to achieve.
We recommend washing on a gentle wash cycle in temperatures no higher than 40 degrees celsius. If possible wash your sheet set separately to avoid the fabric being caught on zippers or buttons.
When drying we always recommend line dried sheets as it´s a more gentle and environmentally friendly however we also understand sometime this simply isn´t practical or possible. In these instances dry them on a low heat cycle to minimise wrinkles.
We do not recommend the use of fabric softeners for two reasons- firstly the cotton in our sheet sets does not need to be softened further and secondly fabric softeners can build up on clothes and sheets making them less absorbent and "harder" in the long run.
In our opinion ironing is a personal preference. If you would like a very crisp clean look then ironing will help achieve that.
Yes you certainly can. If you would like to check the quality of our material we are more than happy to send you a pack of swatches containing the material from each of our cotton bed sheet collections. Please complete our sample request form here.
In our opinion cotton is the first port of call for luxury bed linen sheet sets. There are plenty of options in terms of cotton type with the key being to ensure you're buying quality long fibre cotton with the focus being on the word "quality".
Egyptian cotton bed linen is a real plus when you buy "true" Egyptian cotton as it has superior softness due to these long staple fibres. Egyptian cotton bed linen feels incredibly smooth against the skin, has a lustrous sheen and a luxurious appearance most people desire in their bedroom. It helps your skin breath at night keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
Likewise due to this longer more durable fibre your bed linen will remain looking new and fresh for longer avoiding pesky pilling and discolouration. The problem arises as it's hard to distinguish real Egyptian cotton bed linen products from others which are claiming to be so however are made from an inferior quality. Most of the time one doesn´t realise until you´ve got them home and onto your bed. In some instances it takes just 2 to 3 washes for the pilling to become apparent and for these nasty sheets to start deteriorating.
Common sense generally comes into play here, so if the price tag sounds too good to be true then it probably isn´t the real deal! Sometimes paying a little more now saves you a lot in the long run.

The short answer is YES! Cotton Bed Sheets are extremely hypoallergenic and therefore healthy to sleep on.
Cotton is one of the most common natural fibres for hypoallergenic sheets as it's it's soft, breathable and wicks moisture from your body. Cotton has natural anti-microbial properties meaning dust mites won´t stick around in your bed.
Our number one recommendation if looking for hypoallergenic cotton bedding is avoid any cottton and synthetic blends. Stick to 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen or long fibre cotton bedding.
